75 years of the Great Victory - in the paintings of the contemporary of the war

On February 22, 2020, an exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory opens at the Russian Railway Museum.

The author of the works is a member of the Union of Free Artists Alexei Danilovich Samosadny who turns 75 on March 17, 2020.

Alexei Danilovich was born in 1945 in the year of the Great Victory. He devoted his whole life to railways, working first on Gorkovskaya and then on October railway. In his free time, Alexei Danilovich was engaged in the work closest to his soul - painting. His work is distinguished by its original performance, a combination of various techniques and palettes, a variety of plots and subtexts. More than 200 works made by the artist are in private collections and galleries.

The exhibition is open until March 18, 2020.
